As soon as one cell of the battery fails, the entire unit begins to fail. In such a situation, thousands of rupees were lost in one fell swoop. After a long research, a team of four students from Sharda University solved this problem by inventing a technology.

In this technique, bad cells are easily identified. By replacing the battery, you can prevent complete battery failure. The students also patented this idea. Students received scholarship worth Rs 6 lakh. IIT Roorkee has also assured the team of a grant of Rs 30 lakh. The team includes Saurabh, Ankit Sharma and Diya. Shahbaz has also made positive contribution in the matter of innovation.

Researchers have been working for months to solve the battery problem, the students said. Talked to people driving electric vehicles and battery manufacturers. It turned out that the battery uses spot welding technology. In this way, the cells in the battery are connected to each other and complete the circuit. The number of battery cells is determined based on capacity. Any battery can be affected by overcharging the battery. Since a battery is connected together, the entire battery can be damaged.

Saurabh said that spring contact-based technology has been invented to solve this problem. A special box was made inside. Instead of spot welding, the cells are attached to each other with the help of springs. Each cell has a unique number.

Canvas software is used in the vehicle. There is an indicator installed on the dashboard of the vehicle. With the help of software, information about any battery cell failure is received on the indicator and the unique number of the failed unit is displayed. The battery can be opened and replaced.

The price of a battery usually ranges between three to five hundred rupees. In this case the entire battery will not get damaged.
